Information on the pilot strike announcement
Due to a strike which has been announced by the pilots union “Vereinigung Cockpit” (VC) from 22 February 2010 to 25 February 2010 Lufthansa expects heavy influences to its flight operations.

If you have booked a Lufthansa Flight on 22 February 2010 – 25 February 2010 but prefer to change your travel plans, Lufthansa offers one rebooking free of charge to another Lufthansa flight before 31 March 2010 under the condition that your origin and destination remain unchanged.
Lufthansa has implemented a toll free number for calls within Germany: 0800 / 8 50 60 70.

Passengers on domestic routes in Germany whose flights have been cancelled are requested to make their journey by rail. If you have an electronic ticket (etix) please proceed to one of our Lufthansa Check-In machines to exchange the etix for a travel-voucher. You may also purchase a rail ticket at a service desk of Deutsche Bahn and refund your Lufthansa ticket afterwards.
